This privacy policy applies to the mobile application OmniBanana - AI Photo Editor (“the Application”). OmniBanana allows users to create AI-edited images. To provide AI generation, user prompts and uploads may be transmitted to our backend and our AI processing provider as described below.
1. Data Collection and Usage
1.1 User-Generated Content
The Application processes user-provided images and optional text prompts to generate AI-edited outputs.
When you use AI generation features, your prompts and uploaded images are transmitted to our backend and to Replicate for processing.
Data is used only to fulfill your generation request and improve service reliability and security.
1.2 Analytics, Advertising, and SDK Data Collection
The Application does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name or email. However, it integrates third-party SDKs that may collect device-level identifiers and usage data for analytics, advertising measurement, and subscription management:
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google): Collects anonymized usage data, app interactions, crash reports, and general usage statistics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob: Displays in-app advertisements (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads). May collect the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), device information, IP address, and approximate location to deliver and measure ads.
Meta SDK (Facebook): Used for ad measurement and attribution. May collect device identifiers, app event data, IP address, and general device information. Purchase and subscription events are forwarded server-side to Meta via the Conversions API. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
Apple Search Ads (AdServices): Collects an attribution token at first launch for attributing installs to Apple Search Ads campaigns. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscriptions and forwards anonymized purchase events together with attribution identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, IP address, Firebase App Instance ID, Facebook Anonymous ID, ATT consent status) to the advertising platforms listed above. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS 14.5+ devices, the Application displays Apple's standard tracking permission prompt before collecting your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for ad measurement and attribution. You may decline; the Application will continue to function, but advertising relevance and attribution accuracy will be reduced. You can change your decision at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
1.3 Device Data
The Application may access certain device functionalities (e.g., photo library access to save or load images) but does not collect or transmit any personal device information.
The Application does not request access to device location, contacts, or any unnecessary data.
1.4 Face Data and User Images
The Application processes user-uploaded images, including images containing human faces, for the sole purpose of generating AI-edited outputs.
The Application does not perform facial recognition or collect facial feature data.
To complete AI generation, images and prompts may be transmitted to our backend and to Replicate.
We do not sell face data or use uploaded images for advertising purposes.
Images or results saved to your device may persist until you manually delete them.
2. Data Storage and Security
Data required for AI generation may be processed on our backend infrastructure and by Replicate.
Data transmission uses industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption.
Firebase services are used strictly for anonymized analytics and crash reporting.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including Firebase's built-in security protections, to secure all data during processing.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device and access to the Application.
3. Children's Privacy
The Application is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that we may have collected personal information from a child, please contact us immediately (see Section 10).
4. Your Rights and Choices
You may decline AI data sharing consent; if declined, AI generation will not proceed.
You may delete the Application and any associated images from your device at any time.
You may manage your app settings, including access to the photo library, through your device settings.
5. Third-Party Services
Your uploaded images and prompts are sent only to:
Replicate, Inc.: Processes AI generation requests (prompts and uploaded images). Privacy Policy
Separately, the analytics, advertising, and subscription SDKs listed in Section 1.2 above receive only their respective data (device identifiers, app events, purchase events). These SDKs do not receive your uploaded images, prompts, or generated outputs.
6. User Permission Before AI Data Sharing
Before AI generation data is sent, the Application presents an in-app consent prompt.
The prompt discloses what data is sent and identifies Replicate as the AI processing provider.
You may choose Not Now or Agree. If you do not agree, AI generation does not proceed.
7. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Refunds
7.1 Purchases and Subscriptions
One-Time Purchases: The Application offers in-app purchases (credits or feature unlocks) that are consumed during use. The exact item, price, and quantity are disclosed in the App Store before purchase.
Subscriptions: The Application offers auto-renewing subscriptions that provide ongoing access to premium features. The exact title, duration, and price of each subscription are disclosed in the App Store before purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase and each renewal.
Managing Subscriptions: You can view, manage, or cancel subscriptions at any time via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7.2 Refund Policy
Digital Content: Because AI-edited image generation is a digital content service, items consumed after purchase are non-refundable.
Subscriptions: Unused subscription periods are non-refundable from us. Refund requests for subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms and Conditions. You may request a refund directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Technical Issues: If a purchase is not credited or is consumed abnormally due to a technical issue, please contact customer support promptly.
Abuse: We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse or fraudulent activity.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the Application.
Changes take effect immediately after they are posted.
We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
9. Your Consent
By using the Application and, where applicable, tapping Agree in the AI data sharing prompt, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
